Regional Capacity Building Programme on Organising, Advocacy, Negotiation and Leadership skills in Trade Unions in South Asia SARTUC in collaboration with South Asia Gender Platform (SAGP) and FNV Mondiaal, Netherlands, conducted two days of “Regional Capacity Building on Organising, Advocacy, Negotiation, Campaigning and Leadership Skills in Trade Unions in South Asia”, on 12-13 December 2023, at Kathmandu, Nepal (Hotel Barahi Kathmandu, Thamel, Kathmandu).

Formation of SARTUC's Women Committee SARTUC formed its Women's Committee on 13 December 2023. The meeting was held on 13 December 2023, Wednesday 4 PM (GMT + 5:45) onwards. Mr. Laxman Bahadur Basnet, General Secretary, SARTUC presided over the meeting, and the participants from all the SARTUC affiliated countries were presented except Maldives. -
Regional Consultation on SARTUC-SAFE Further Collaboration in the Protection and Welfare of South Asian Migrant Workers The South Asian Regional Trade Union Council (SARTUC), in collaboration with ILO (GOALS Project), conducted a two-day regional consultation on “SARTUC-SAFE further collaboration in the protection and welfare of South Asian migrant workers” in Kathmandu, Nepal on 13-14 August 2023. The regional consultation signed and adopted the Joint Resolution between SAFE and SARTUC agreed to work together for safe, responsible and legal migration to protect the rights of the Migrant Workers.
